How would you describe yourself to someone?
I used to think of myself as precocious,
a little bookish
boy with glasses
and a novel in his face.
But:
* I haven’t changed much,
so I would probably
continue the description from there.
*I’m absentminded
which makes me seem
inconsiderate
* (sometimes
my mind is wandering
in a book, a story, a movie,
a far-off land).
* ^ Often, it seems
I’d rather be there
than here. ^
