If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?
To my dog, I would love to speak;
he’s a Jack Russel, small and unique.
He sleeps through the day,
acting as if weak.
But what would I say to him?
holding on to his forelimb,
like grasping a hand,
claws, hair, and paws slim.
Regardless of what you do, I say,
you are my friend, here to stay.
I am glad that we have you,
and from our hearts you will not stray.
