Poetry: Curiosity is a Problem in Quatrain

Daily writing prompt
What are you curious about?

I am endlessly curious.
My doctor tells me,
not to feign spurious
thoughts, it’s just ADHD.

Yet, I’m mentally prowling,
the room, intensely,
while he talks, scowling
heart racing, immensely.

As the feeling in the room
crescendos with vapid explanation,
A sense of blooming doom
from newfound information.

My curiosity has been forever,
and never have I felt inert.
Constantly looking however
and always staying alert.
