Words have meaning
and we all want to be heard.
I want my words to change
thoughts
and opinions.
To instill earnest interest
in everything, big and small.
That would impact the world
and change how we imagine.
Words make us reimagine.
The way we think of
the road less traveled
or castles by the sea
or nefarious ravens.
Words can make us cry,
or sing songs of rejoice.
Words make us angry,
or laugh and repent.
The way we think of
sonnets
and captains
and stopping for death.
I want my words to be heard,
and I want them to be seen.
