I think of myself as a worm,
undulating through an earthen
pile of pudding
and cheesy hash.

from the rhubarb pie
to the sweet potatoes
covered in whipped cream.
As I squirm and flop
through the mountains of
mash and gravy
I fling myself to the sweet
hills of sugary surrender.
