I was just thinking,
that I have always loved
walking, perambulating
through the woods.
I get less of that now,
out in the country,
unless I want to walk
on shoulders of roads
but I have seen drivers
swerve to miss
imaginary things
if only to crunch me
under their tires
in a no-fault state.
